3rd edition of the "Materials and Sustainability" Summer School: a growing collaboration
To encourage innovation, research and training, a program dedicated to innovative, ecological and sustainable materials, presented in the form of a summer school in partnership with Sorbonne University, L' Agence de Développement de Sèmè City and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement.
Overview of the MATEDD Cotonou July 2024 Materials and Sustainable Development School, with the participation of IMAT:
- Lectures: Ecological transition and materials, Sustainable building materials, Metal extraction: ecological and social impacts and the future, Plastics: solutions to environmental problems.
- Courses and practical work: Synthesis chemistry, Mineralogy of sustainable materials constituents, Electronic structures and spectroscopies, Micromorphology, X-ray diffraction analysis techniques.
