The 3 winning 2024 projects
This year's projects were grouped under two themes, Innovative Materials and Fundamental Challenges. We received 12 projects, 10 of which were submitted by SU laboratories and two by UTC laboratories. The strategic and management committees appreciated the overall quality of the projects. The Institute is funding 3 CDs this year.
Selection procedure
The applications were evaluated by the International Strategic Committee and the Institute's Management Committee. The members independently assessed and graded the projects (avoiding situations of conflict of interest). All these assessments (between 5 and 10 per project) served as a basis for the jury organised on 11 March, which resulted in the 2024 selection.
